Uncap the pen and the large 18K No. 30 nib meets the paper with a soft, cushioned stroke. This is the Pilot Custom Urushi FKV-88SR, a full-size fountain pen for writers and collectors who want lacquer they use every day.
The ebonite cap and barrel carry a roiro urushi finish that feels warm and holds your fingers instead of slipping. The 20 mm body fills a large hand without posting the cap. Choose jet black, vermilion red or navy, each with an FM, M or B nib.
Length 155 mm, weight 44 g, screw cap, cartridge or converter filling. Urushi is a natural lacquer, so shade and gloss vary slightly between pens, may differ from the photos, and mellow with light and handling.
