Pilgrim Imports Oscar Sea Otter Ornament Copper Metal Beads Fair Trade **READ** For Sale

This is a fun ornament from Pilgrim Imports that features a two sided design of a sea otter named OSCAR on his back and waiving to us. These ornament are handcrafted in Thailand from a blend of brass, copper, nickel and colorful beads. The ornament hangs from a metal hook that is attached to the top with a small beaded link. There are multicolored blue beads at the bottom that are designed to resemble waves or possibly bubbles. The otter is made mainly from copper with brass and nickel accents. This is a fair trade piece made by metalworkers in a village outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. It measures approximately 5 inches long by about 5 1/2 inches tall (with the hook) and it is about 1 inch wide. Ornament is in fair to good pre-owned condition. One set of the otters whiskers have broken off. Please see last photo for a close up of this area. Also, it does show light tarnish and patina normal for these mixed metals.
