Phil is shown as a Junior. He later transferred to Berkeley High School. I did not see any other pages with his name but he may be in some of the unnamed photos (?).

Lesh was born inBerkeley, California, on March 15, 1940,[2]the only child of Frank Lesh, an amateur piano player, and Barbra Chapman.[1]His father encouraged him to take up the violin at the age of eight. At El Cerrito High School in East Bay he became a member of the school's marching band.[1]
While enrolled atBerkeley High Schoolhe switched to trumpet and participated in the school's music-related extracurricular activities.[3]He studied the instrument under Bob Hansen, conductor of the symphonicGolden Gate ParkBand, and became interested inavant-garde classical musicandfree jazz.[4]By his mid-teens, inspired by Beethoven and Charles Ives, he had decided that he wanted to be a composer.[1]
