Pelikan Souverän M800 Fountain Pen
Pelikan Souverän M800 in Black-Blue, the second-largest pen in Pelikan’s flagship Souverän line and widely considered the sweet spot of the range for size and balance.
The striped barrel is cellulose acetate, a material Pelikan has used for decades and one prized for its depth and chatoyance. The blue shifts noticeably depending on the light. Cap, grip section and piston knob are black resin, set off by 24 karat gold-plated trim and Pelikan’s signature beak clip. The cap band is engraved Pelikan Souverän Germany.
Nib and filling
The nib is Pelikan’s 18 carat gold, two-tone with rhodium masking, stamped 18C-750 and M for medium. Solid brass internal components give the M800 its characteristic weight in the hand.
Piston filling system, bottled ink only. The nib unit unscrews for thorough cleaning.
