Pelikan Souverän M600 in Vibrant Orange, a special edition released for Pelikan\'s 180th anniversary and long discontinued.
The acrylic barrel and cap were built up through several production steps to capture a range of bright autumn foliage tones, shading from light and transparent to intense orange. The barrel and cap are turned and then polished to a high sheen, and because of how the material is made the pattern differs from pen to pen. In the light it very nearly glows.
Fitted with Pelikan\'s 14 carat gold nib, partly rhodium plated for the two-tone effect, stamped 14C-585 with an M for medium. Trim rings are 24 karat gold plated. Piston filling system, bottled ink only. Contrasting black grip section and piston knob.
The M600 sits in the middle of the Souverän range, a comfortable size for those who find the M800 too large and the M400 too small.
