Beautiful matching pair of vintage Italian-style carved marble/alabaster table lamps featuring an elegant neoclassical urn design. These are in my family for a long time, but we simply have no place for them in our new home.
These are substantial, beautifully crafted lamps, weighing approximately 10 pounds each and standing 28 inches tall. Both feature gorgeous natural white and gray veining, intricate carved leaf detailing, and solid stepped stone bases.
The stone has a beautiful translucent quality and actually glows when illuminated from behind, giving these lamps a really unique appearance. Each has its own natural veining and character while still making a beautifully matched pair.
Believed to be Italian and dated around mid-20th century, possibly the 1950s–1970s.
Condition: Both lamps are in very nice vintage cosmetic condition with age-appropriate wear. One lamp is working, while the other is currently not functioning and will need electrical attention or rewiring. The nonworking lamp is being sold as-is. Both retain their vintage socket hardware and traditional harp fittings.
