Matching pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern trench-art table lamps featuring brass and silver-tone metal bodies mounted on substantial turned wood bases. The lamp shades are in amazing shape and exquisite.
These have a great Mid-Mod look, combining the military/trench-art aesthetic of the metal bodies with clean tapered forms and warm wood bases. The two-tone brass and silver-colored upper sections give them a particularly distinctive appearance.
Both lamps include the matching textured off-white shades with black trim shown in the photos. The shades complement the lamps extremely well and are included with the pair.

Each lamp features a brass cylindrical lower section, elongated tapered brass and silver-tone body, stepped round wood base, standard socket, harp and individual on/off switch. Both retain their vintage brown electrical cords and plugs.
The lamps show normal vintage age and use, including patina, tarnish, scratches, scuffs and surface marks to the brass and metal. Wood bases have some scratches and marks. Shades remain attractive overall with scattered spotting, marks and other age-related wear as photographed.
The brass has not been aggressively polished, preserving the vintage patina.
