This is an authentic, exceedingly rare, individual vintage \'AIR FORCE ONE\' PRESIDENTIAL SEAL CRYSTAL JUICE GLASS ordered by Eisenhower\'s staff in 1960 and used by the President and Mrs. Eisenhower aboard the presidential aircraft during Ike\'s time in office. Measuring 4.75\" in height and 2.5\" inches in diameter, this glass is emblazoned with the Presidential Seal in 22K gold. The bottom of the glass is etched with the maker\'s mark, \'Fostoria\'. Glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, showing minor wear consistent with its age and use. This glass is impossible to find anywhere, particularly one so well-preserved. *** IMPORTANT NOTE *** Given its age, the glass is not dishwasher safe and should not be cleaned or subjected to chemical cleaners, solvents or abrasives.
Issued by the White House, this exceedingly rare Presidential glass originates with a White House insider and is a unique and extremely scarce Presidential relic directly from President Eisenhower\'s airplane -- the first aircraft to use the call sign \'AIR FORCE ONE\'. Also included is a photo (contemporary print) showing President Eisenhower aboard the Presidential aircraft, plus a sheet of vintage \'WHITE HOUSE\' stationery. A rare opportunity to own an extraordinary piece of Presidential history personally used by one of the most celebrated figures in American history. All photos taken without flash.
