This is my second & even nicer than the first pair of SGT original white linen chevrons worn by THE MARINE CORP soldiers during the Spanish-American War.
These chevrons were specifically designed for tropical and hot weather uniforms.
These chevrons are authentic pieces from the period of 1898 & reintroduced in 1910 making them a valuable collectible item for enthusiasts of militaria. Nice linen back & extremely clean for its age.
The chevrons would make a unique addition to any collection focusing on this time period.
