Up for sale is a gorgeous Philco 37-650 tube radio, dating from 1937. This classic 8-tube radio has been completely restored to full functionality and looks stunning.
⚠️ IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL NOTICE
AM and shortwave tube radio reception varies greatly depending on your location, weather, antenna length, time of day, and potential interference from nearby electrical equipment. This is an 80+ year-old radio. By design, it uses high voltage for the vacuum tube anodes; therefore, it should not be operated unattended for long periods of time.
Restoration Details & Condition 🛠️ Chassis Integrity
All original vintage paper and electrolytic capacitors were meticulously replaced with modern components. Weak tubes (including the 6F6G push-pull output stages) and drifting resistors have been replaced with reliable parts to ensure correct bias voltages.
📜 Authenticity
The chassis and cabinet codes match perfectly, confirming its 100% original authenticity. The iconic unit-construction chassis is exceptionally clean inside, looking exactly how it was released from the Philco factory many years back.

The radio was carefully aligned end-to-end across its three tuning ranges, covering standard AM broadcast and two shortwave bands. The rare electromagnetic \"shadow meter\" (Philco\'s unique mechanical tuning indicator) is fully intact, illuminated, and functions beautifully to guide your tuning.
