This is a pair of US CAVALRY original brassards (chevrons) from the Spanish-American War, mainly worn in 1898 with the first version khaki uniform.
Worn by the cavalry for Bakers & Cooks in 1898. These brassards feature a full canvas arm (1/2 wrap around) with the design of a baker loaf hat which is very rare.
With a theme of militaria and a time period manufactured during the Spanish-Amer War, this collectible item holds historical significance and would be a valuable addition to any military memorabilia collection.
