TWO items are included here... a 1956 calendar book (issued in 1955) AND a vintage photo of the ship.
The calendar book is in fine shape, with no writing or damage of any type. The book measures about 6" by 8 1/2" when closed. All pages are intact and I'd say it has way less than the normal wear you might expect on a 74-year-old book like this. The book is organized like a standard calendar book, with once week at a time showing when opened flat, and a different Coral Sea related photo on the left hand side for each week of the year 1956, 52 photos in all.
The included large format photo appears to be from the same era. It measures about 12" by 20" and would be very nice framed. I see a couple of small tears on the left and right edges, but those could be hidden or trimmed away during the framing process. Note that the photo is black and white, with a hand tinted blue ocean. Both items are offered together only and are not to be split up.
