Original Remington made during 1933-1935 by Remington Arms Co. / UMC (Union Metallic Cartridge Co.). Rogers Bone Scales;Length 3-5/8\"closed. Large, heavy, 2-Blade Jack.Remington Roger’s Bone scales. Federal shield. Long pull.Blades are used (both blades were sharpened and buffed); verysharp. Blades almost full length (mainblade slightly short). Good strongsnaps. Blades tight; no play/wobble atall. Light-brown handles with hairlinesat lower pins.
NOTE: Rogers Bone was made by the Rogers Manufacturing Company of Rockfall, Connecticut during the early 20th Century. Some time later Case XX began making their own \"Case Rogers Bone\", which is different jigging.

• LARGE JACK KNIFE - PATTERN IS R163 =2-Blade JACK.
• Nickel-silver bolsters.
• Tang stamp is a circle stamp typical of 1933-1935.
• This is an early Remington knife with good steel and heavy blades.
• Knife is 3-5/8\" long (closed) with brass liners.
• The blade steel is carbon steel.
• Long pull and thick main blade.
  
• Main blade has good matchup with the backspring; absolutely no play when tugged left/right.
• Blades each have strong snap opening, half stop, and closing.
• Scales are jigged Roger\'s Bone with great color andtexture.
• Scales have a single hairline crack at the lower pins (hard to see). Hairlines were very common in this pattern, because the pins were placed close to the handle margins.
• Knife was used and sharpened (sharpening loss and buffed).
• Great old knife with plenty of function and life left.
