Offered is a vintage original Bulgarian Order of 9 September 1944 decoration group featuring examples of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Classes.
The Order of 9 September 1944 (Орден „9 Септември 1944“) was one of the important state decorations of socialist Bulgaria. Established in 1945, the order was awarded in both civilian and military divisions and in three classes. The military versions were distinguished by crossed swords.
The decorations feature the characteristic five-pointed star design, enamel finish, central portrait medallion, green laurel wreath and the Cyrillic inscription “9 СЕПТ 1944.” The different classes can be distinguished by their enamel and ribbon configurations.
