ORIGINAL 1940s ALADDIN B-75 TALL LINCOLN DRAPE ALACITE TABLE LAMP WITH PINK FLORAL GLASS SHADE

Offered is a beautiful original Aladdin Model B-75 Tall Lincoln Drape lamp, produced during the 1940s in Aladdin’s distinctive Alacite glass.

This is an original period B-75 Tall Lincoln Drape, not a later reproduction.

The lamp features the highly recognizable Lincoln Drape molded glass pattern, with elegant swag-and-drapery decoration around the font, a tall fluted pedestal stem, stepped geometric base, original-style side filler opening, and brass burner/gallery hardware.

The Alacite glass has an especially attractive warm ivory to blush-pink coloration, giving the lamp a wonderful soft appearance. Aladdin’s Alacite was developed to resemble fine ivory and surviving examples can vary considerably in tone, making the warmer pinkish examples particularly decorative.

This example is paired with a striking large pink glass floral shade decorated with blue flowers, green foliage, golden/tan botanical accents, black scrolling details, and a dramatic ruffled/scalloped upper rim. The pink shade coordinates beautifully with the Alacite base and gives the lamp an exceptional period presentation.

The lamp has been electrified for modern corded use while retaining the visual character of the original kerosene lamp, including the side filler and traditional brass burner-form hardware.

CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition overall with age-appropriate wear. The Alacite glass base presents beautifully. Brass components exhibit natural oxidation, patina, darkening, and surface wear consistent with age. The filler cap also shows oxidation and age. The floral glass shade displays very well with normal vintage surface wear. Please carefully review all photographs for exact condition, coloration, hardware, shade, and components included.
