Original 1938 Hudson-Terraplane Spaceship Starship Rocket Hood Ornament Rat Rod:
$329.00
- A very rare & highly sought after original hood ornament used on all Hudson-Terraplane cars in the solo year 1938.
- Spaceship or Starship design was cast in zinc alloy by Doehler Die-Casting, Toledo, O. Casting mark on inside - ‘126570 CDC’
- Final year the Terraplane name was used. All subsequent cars (1939-) used the Hudson nameplate alone.
- This all original Hudson-Terraplane spaceship ornament is in excellent condition. Chrome is deep, bright & shiny. Original factory red paint. Threads good. Heavy & solid. Lightly used.
- No bends, breaks or repairs. Some flaking of the chrome in areas and a few small pits. Still, superior quality for this rare ornament.
- Larger dark spots in photos are due to reflections.
- Sold as found. No returns.
