Up for sale is an authentic, historically significant piece of ocean liner memorabilia: an original 1936 R.M.S. Queen Mary Maiden Voyage Propeller Ashtray. This souvenir was produced by The Manganese Bronze & Brass Co. Ltd. (London, England)—the exact foundry responsible for casting the massive 35-ton bronze propellers for the legendary liner. These ashtrays were presented to passengers to commemorate the ship\'s historic maiden voyage on May 27, 1936.The piece features a cast metal dish with raised Art Deco lettering along the rim reading: “R.M.S. QUEEN MARY MAIDEN VOYAGE 27 MAY 1936”.

Mechanical: The central propeller is structurally sound and spins smoothly/freely when flicked.
Surface: This piece retains its original, honest, unpolished historic patina. The interior bowl shows expected age-related oxidation, tarnish, and surface spotting from decades of storage.
Edges: The outer rim shows minor flea bites, light nicks, and surface scuffs typical of a genuine 90-year-old artifact (please see close-up photos for exact details). !!One propeller blade shows a patch of localized dark discoloration on the underside from what appears to be a patch job- please see pictures!! An excellent addition for any serious Cunard White Star Line, Titanic-era, or maritime antique collector.
