Original 1923 Yosemite National Park photographic travel archive.
This remarkable collection documents a family trip to Yosemite, California in July 1923 and has been kept together as one archive.
Included:
• 24 original vintage photographs
• 17 original photographic negatives
• 5 negatives match photographs included in the collection
• 12 negatives appear to represent additional images not present among the prints

• Original Camp Curry Studio, Yosemite National Park photo envelope
The photographs include Yosemite scenery, waterfalls, Mirror Lake, giant trees/forest scenes, early automobiles traveling through Yosemite, horseback/mule scenes, and members of the traveling family.
Several photographs have handwritten period inscriptions on the reverse identifying dates, locations and people. Dates visible include July 1923, with names including Dorothy, Eugene and Steve.
Some of the original negatives show scenes that apparently were never represented by surviving prints, making them an interesting part of the archive.
The original Camp Curry Studio envelope accompanies the collection and further supports its Yosemite provenance.
All photographs and negatives are vintage originals, not modern reproductions.
Condition:
Antique photographic material more than 100 years old. Expected age-related wear, toning, fading, handling marks, edge wear and other imperfections may be present. Some negatives show age and surface wear. Please carefully review all photographs for condition.
