Old African Carved One Piece Rhino,Taking Down Water Buffalo Carved Iron Wood For Sale

Old African water buffalo and rhinoceros connected one piece that shows the rhinoceros trying to take down the buffalo. It’s easy to see which ones are machine made by all the really fine lines so that they use some sort of electric tool. The two pieces are connected at the horns and mid body so it’s all one piece. The size is roughly 11 inches long so nearly a foot and the widest spot which is hard to find is about 5 inches across. This was a old piece pictures show the drying of the wood creating natural cracks that don’t affect the peace at all, but that’s merely age and shrinkage and not personal damage. I oiled the wood and it brought out the color again, telling me this is possibly an older piece because of the fading? The last picture shows a foot that appears to have been repaired on the rhinoceros? As I inspected throughly there is a wood peg so i repaired. It’s a beautiful piece and it weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. It’s believed to be lead/ironwood wood that they began to use at one time instead of using up the higher quality rare trees. I read that this particular tree is pushed down and used by the elephant so they’re basically doing a reclaim, which is great when it comes to rare wood such as Ebony.
