Oaxaca Textile Fidel Cruz - this stunning textile, from the village of Teotitlan del Valle near Oaxaca, was created by Fidel Cruz Lazo and his charming wife Maria Luisa Mendoza. Experts in using natural dye techniques, this couple can also be considered, easily, among the best weavers in the village. Purchased from Maria and Fidel in 2001, and has remained in a private collection since that time. Exquisite use of colors makes this wool piece stand out in any textile collection.
