This rustic Halloween cat was handmade in the USA by KRISNICK folk artist Tom Panetta. The cat was constructed using a traditional compound of clay, paper, and plaster. The cat is carefully hand-painted and finished with a five-step antiquing process, giving it a unique aged appearance. Rusty gold metal bell, fabric ruffle around neck, cottony yarn wrapped around feet, metal whiskers.
Signed by the artist. Tom Panetta's work has been featured in a national magazine. Purchased directly from the artist at a folk art festival in Pennsylvania.
