This beautiful Nymphenburg Porcelain Borzoi Wolfhound Dog Figurine Figure by THEODOR KÄRNER is a stunning addition to any collection.
Made by Nymphenburg just after WW2 (20th century in Germany). He was designed by the famous Theodor Kaerner whose models of animals are the best in the porcelain world. This piece has the perfect pose for this breed - lying down with on leg stretched straight out! The modeling is perfect and the hand painted details superb.
The figure is 5 inches tall, 4.875 inches wide and 11 inches long. It is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, impressed number 4 and incised number 438. It is in mint condition which is amazing considering the one outstretched leg in front.
