Fabulous hand painted floral rose gilt porcelain shakers in excellent condition!
These antique salt and pepper shakers are a wonderful example of hand painted Nippon porcelain. The fine detailing of the wild roses, leaves, and vines is so delicate, flowing, and lyrical. There are beautiful gilt accents on the tops and feet. Dating to the early 1900s, they are in amazing condition for their age with no chips, cracks or repairs.
They are both stamped Nippon on the bottom. They do not have their original corks, but this does not detract from their beauty; replacement corks can easily be found, if desired.
