Vintage Naturecraft Ltd. “Little Torment” Ref. No. 856 hand-painted character figurine, made in England and dating to approximately the mid-1970s / circa 1975–1976.
This wonderfully expressive Naturecraft scene depicts a stern-looking woman standing beside a wash tub while a mischievous child peeks out from behind her. The composition is packed with small details including laundry, basket, wash tub, scrub brush, soap and textured flooring.

The figurine presents very nicely overall. A few small chips / areas of surface loss are present and have been clearly photographed with a pointer/ruler for easy identification. No major cracks, breaks, or repairs were noted during inspection.
As expected with a vintage hand-painted display piece, there may be light wear, minor paint variation, dust or residue remaining in highly detailed and recessed areas. The figurine has been lightly cleaned and dusted but has not been aggressively scrubbed or restored.
