Vintage Naturecraft Ltd. “Leroy Strikes Again” hand-painted figurine, Ref. No. 968, made in England.
This wonderfully detailed humorous scene depicts two children beside a small wooden structure, with one child holding a hammer while covering his eyes and the other attempting to sneak away carrying a yellow teddy bear.
The sculpture features the heavily textured, hand-painted finish associated with vintage Naturecraft character figurines, with particularly nice detailing in the simulated wood grain, stonework, grass, clothing, and facial expressions.
The base is marked:

Measures approximately 6 inches high.
Overall the piece displays very well, but there are scattered small chips, paint losses, and minor storage/display wear, particularly around some edges and along the base. These are relatively small and consistent with the age and fragile textured nature of this type of cast figurine.
It has been lightly cleaned/dusted but not aggressively scrubbed or restored in order to preserve the original painted finish.
