NOS Vintage Bill Matthews Schwinn Stingray Banana Seat Muscle Bike Header Pipes For Sale

NOS vintage Bill Matthews Co. Header Pipes exhaust pipes accessory for Schwinn Stingray bicycles. Bill Matthews Co. was a banana seat bike accessory manufacturer in California in the late 1960\'s and early 1970\'s and made some of the coolest Far-Out Stuff brand accessories. The company also made the Top Fueler Drag Fork and Hangman Noose sissy bar accessories. These header pipes were intended to be mounted with screws to the top of your chain guard with a clamp you would drill into your sissy bar. This header pipe does not include the clamp for the sissy bar. The chrome on the pipes is nice, but is typical 1960\'s flash chrome, so there are some imperfections in the original finish. There is a slight gap in the weld on one side of the inner pipe, quality control was not that great on bicycle accessories back then I guess. Includes the original instructions and bag (which is in sad shape) but it missing the original header card.A hard to find accessory if you\'ve been looking for one.
