Ultra-Rare Cold Steel SK-5 Trail Master from the Personal Collection of Lynn Thompson (With Signed COA)Up for sale is a highly collectible and historically significant piece of Cold Steel history. This is an authentic, brand-new (without box) Cold Steel SK-5 Trail Master, acquired directly from the personal collection of Cold Steel founder Lynn Thompson. It comes complete with its original sheath and a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) hand-signed by Lynn Thompson himself. Why This Specific Trail Master is Highly Collectible:

• The Rare "China" Production Window (2007–2008): Following the sudden closure of Camillus (USA) in early 2007, Cold Steel briefly moved production of the Trail Master to China for a very short window between 2007 and 2008. Production was quickly moved to Taiwan by 2009. Because of this tiny 1-to-2-year manufacturing run, authentic China-stamped Trail Masters are incredibly rare and highly sought after by completionist collectors.
• Elite Provenance: This isn't just a standard retail knife; it was personally owned by the man who created the company. The included COA signed by Lynn Thompson solidifies its investment-grade status.
• Distinct Era Cosmetics: Features the historically accurate black epoxy-powder-coated SK-5 high-carbon steel blade and a matching black-coated steel guard, unique to this brief production era.

Condition Notes:This knife is in Mint / New Without Box condition. It has never been used, carried, or sharpened. It has been meticulously stored as a collector's piece. The original sheath is included and is also in excellent condition. Please see the photos to verify the "China" stamp and the pristine condition of the blade.FREE SHIPPING
