This Video camera unit is NASA modified with blue velcro added, and special tripod shoe still attached, indicating iy was likely flown on ISS.. It comes with NASA Camcorder Soft Stowage Bag includes a Canon 18x HD video L-series zoom lens (4.1-73.8 mm, 35 mm equivalent 29.3-527 mm), three 1/3-inch CMOS sensors with 2.07 megapixels effective each, and records MPEG-2 4:2:2 at 50 Mbps to dual Compact Flash cards. Connections include HD-SDI, Genlock, Timecode In/Out, and XLR audio inputs.

This model Canon Camcorder was a standard issue unit on the ISS and were used for broadcasting video from the ISS, doing interviews, and documenting daily activities by crew members.

NASA P/N SEG33123670-301, serial number 1056 are affixed on the side of the body as wel as a scannable barcode for inventory trackingXF305's were standard issue by NASA for use on the International Space Station for Crew members to film media events and interviews for the public, as well as document daily life aboard the ISS. This unit has the same features as other flight cameras such as blue velcro patches in several places and a NASA specialty tripod shoe adapter attached on the bottom with more velcro and vibration dampener added as well. This unit came directly from JSC, however any prior history or flown status cannot be guaranteed at this time.
