Offered by Julieta Pipes is a distinctive 2016 Moretti Bent Stack, a handmade Italian estate pipe featuring an exceptionally tall bowl, deeply textured finish and striking butterscotch-colored marbled stem.
This is an especially characterful example of Moretti's Italian pipe-making style. The tall, slender bowl gives the pipe the proportions of a Bent Stack, standing approximately 3 inches high with an impressive chamber depth of approximately 2 3/4 inches.
The bowl and shank display a deeply textured finish in warm reddish-brown tones, with pronounced grain and sculptural character throughout. Smooth briar accents provide an attractive transition between the rugged bowl and stem.
Perhaps the pipe's most distinctive feature is its beautiful butterscotch-colored marbled stem. Swirls of amber, caramel and darker brown give the stem considerable visual depth and complement the warm coloration of the briar. The stem also bears Moretti's distinctive round inset logo.

Condition
This is a previously smoked estate pipe. The chamber shows evidence of prior smoking with carbon and darkening remaining.

The butterscotch-colored stem remains particularly attractive and may show light surface marks consistent with previous use, handling and age.
