Mondl Mfg Co Black Leather Aviator Flight Cap Blizzard Helmet Pre WW2 1920s/30s For Sale

Here is a very rare pre WW2 1920s/30s Aviator flight cap, or very early Hotrodders/ Race cap. Made by Mondl MFG Co out of Oshkosh Wisconsin and is named the “Blizzard Helmet”.
Overall the cap is on good shape considering the age and scarcity. However it does still sustain damage. The leather is dry and cracking and will flake off if disturbed, the inner lamb wool is discolored, and the brass snaps are tarnished but do function. There is no rips or tears that I could find, and the cap is still solid due to it having a cloth construction underneath the leather cover.
As far as I know these are extremely hard to come by, and from what I can tell there is not much subject matter or examples of these caps around making these very very scarce and almost unobtainable.
