Beautifully formed wooden decorative vessel featuring an unusual two-piece sculptural lid. The two organically shaped lid sections nest together to create a flowing abstract design.
The underside is hand-signed/incised with what appears to read “BETH MAHN” or similar, along with an additional geometric maker\'s mark. We have not been able to positively identify the artist, so the piece is being offered as an unidentified signed studio-art work.
Warm wood grain and substantial sculptural form make this an excellent display piece for Mid-Century Modern, organic modern, studio craft or artisan wood collections.
