Mid Antique 18thC Meissen Porcelain Woodcut Flowers Saucer Porzellan Untertasse For Sale

For sale is an early saucer made by Meissen in about 1750 . It is nicely hand painted with one larger floral arrangement on one side, two large single flowers including a honeysuckle and one tiny flower with a light brown trim to the edge. The flowers are still heavily influenced by the woodcut style but already show some influence of the Deutsche Blumen style which took hold shortly after this period! The saucer is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords underneath as well as a number impressed by the foot ring. The piece is in perfect condition but there is some paint flaking to the green color - a common issue on these early pieces with the green color - not sure why! The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Unterteller German Germany 18th century Holzschnittblumen
