Miami MOD Biomorphic Mobiles on Turquoise ATOMIC Barkcloth Vintage Pillow Cover For Sale

Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality drama and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with free ship! A dramatic colorful spin on Miami Beach MOD...also know as MIMO and celebrates all things mid century Miami Beach! A rare one that I just love...with all the bells and whistles that connect the circles and lines of the Art Deco era with the abstractability of florida mid century. A juicy turquoise blue ground with funky gold metallic which was an innovative use of the period...capitalizing on modern accents that were unusual and cutting edge for the time. Bubble gum pink geometrics mixed with an abstract biomorphic leafy display with cotton candy pink...creamy pastel yellow...creamy grays...with black and white accents. Paired with a glammy cotton candy pink velvet that just serves up the most terrific of color ways with a double piping in black and turquoise that honors this baby just perfectly. A hidden zipper for easy removal of your pillow insert. Measures 22 inches wide x 22 inches long. These mid century mobile designs are meant to create the illusion of floating in air...casting a moody calm from the gentle motion and this design captures the iconic sculptures and organic curves of the movement that we now know as the mid century. Note (I have shown a coordinating pillow that is also for sale in my shop)
