This is a hand painted refrigerator magnet from Mesilla, New Mexico, created in 1990 by the artist signed “T. T.” on the back. A small but distinctive piece of Southwestern folk art.
The magnet measures1 inch square and is made from a material that feels like stone or cast stone, with dark specks embedded in a light gray base. The front is hand painted, giving each detail a unique, handcrafted appearance.
There are very small scratches on the painted surface, consistent with age and handling. These marks add to the character and authenticity of the piece rather than detract from it.
Condition:
Pre-owned and vintage. Light surface wear and small scratches present, enhancing the handmade, folk-art charm. Signature and date on the back are visible.
