This is an extraordinary ethnographic relic imported from the Mendi Valley of Papua New Guinea. It’s an old “payback doll” made from jungle fiber, leaves, mud and traditional adornments. These dolls are used to mark revenge for a loved one taken. This particular doll is a female and measures approximately 26” in height, 14” in width by 6” in depth.
