Mata Ortiz Pottery Signed Gaby Dominguez 7.5\" Vase Painted Butterflies Birds For Sale

This beautiful piece (7.5\" x 5\") is by Gaby Dominguez, signed \"Gaby Dgez\" on the bottom of the vase. She makes her own work, and also makes pieces with her husband, Cesar Dominguez. This piece is kind of an egg shape, with two flared pieces on the top edge. All the butterflies and birds are painted on, and some have incised additions. While it can stand by itself, it does come with an oval ring for display. The oval shape is not ideal to display it standing up, but it is ideal to display it on it\'s side. It\'s in good condition overall, with some scratches on the small flat section where the signature is located.
