Masse Freres Desvres French Hand Painted Bell For Sale

This is a lovely vintage (French Faience Bell produced by Masse Freres of Desvres who I do not believe are in business any longer. It is in great condition with working clapper. It is all hand painted and includes the proverb, \"Souvent femme varie, Bien fol qui s\'y fie...\" which loosely means \"women are fickle and he who trusts them is a fool.\" These bells are rare and not often found. Signed MF France which is the mark of Masse Freres.
