I am selling a beautiful Mint new unused Giant Marlen TEN Limited Edition Grey-Black striated celluloid fountain pen with giant #8 Medium 18kt gold (two-tone-rhodium-plated) nib (with premium ebonite feeder). Screw on cap. Button filler makes this a cool pen, withbutton accessible under the blind cap at the bottom end of the pen. Mint with box (not the original) and papers. Marlen pens are hand-made in the Naples region of Italy, and are known the world over for their distinctive designs, and use of diverse materials. This pen is part of the TEN collection, released in circa 2000, and characterised by its very beautifulresin, giant size, elegant shape, with hand-worked antiqued solid 18kt white gold cap and barrel bands, and Marlen\'s hand-worked antiqued solid 18kt white gold clip (featuring four diamonds in the wheel). New old stock, with a very nice mega large #8 18kt gold nib. This solid 18kt white gold version of the TEN giant pen was produced in a numbered series of 10 pieces in this grey-black-solid-white-gold combination, as a celebration of pen collecting. Pen collectors the world over treasure the vintage giant pens of yesteryear, as they are rare (few were made because they were relatively expensive, and relatively unpopular as they were not as practical to use a standard size pen, etc). Waterman\'s 20 and Parker\'s Giant are examples of such vintage pens. In the modern area, giant pens are also valued, if not cherished. Visconti\'s Speakeasy and Namiki\'s Emperor are examples.
Marlen in circa 2000 collaborated with then Australian Distributor to produce the TEN collection. It was presented as a new collection at the Frankfurt Stationery Fair in that year. A total of 510 sterling silver accented pens, 10 18kt gold-accented pens, and 10 Platinum-accented pens were produced. This particular pen on offer is No. 10 in the solid 18kt white-gold-accented version.Some tarnish, knocks and marks may bepresent on the metal work... we do not remove these, preferring to ship the pen with its original ex-Marlen-factory patina. Combined Shipping Discount

I offer a combined shipping discount for multiple listeditems, but only in circumstances whereby the multiple items are being purchasedon one and same invoice/transaction showing the reduced/adjusted combinedshipping rate. This requires the buyer to request a total for multiplepurchases prior to payment, or to defer payment after the multiple itempurchase commitments are made, prior to payment, so that I can make thenecessary adjustment to the invoice and submit it to the buyer for payment.
