The MacKENZIE-CHILDS Palm Devon Torquay Salt and Pepper Shaker Set is a whimsical and eclectic set of handpainted terracotta ceramic shakers.The Palm Devon Torquay pattern stands out with the sage (Palm) and red (clay from the Devon region in England) striping and includes the pedestal formation with a blue and yellow checkerboard pattern and gold trim at the base. Handmade at the MacKenzie-Childs art studios in Aurora, New York in 2001, the imprint shows the fabrication date and artisan initials signed in ceramic ink. The Torquay Palm Devon Pattern is retired and discontinued. This is a wonderful and charming addition to a MacKenzie-Childs collection.
