We are offering a collection of 17 Original 8" x 10" black & white glossy photographs of different scenes from the 1935 movie "Mutiny on the Bounty", starring Charles Laughton as William Bligh, the cruel captain of the Bounty which was sailing to Tahiti, and Clark Gable as Fletcher Christian, the First Mate. The sailors enjoyed their stay in Tahiti which was indeed a paradise, but when they set sail for England, the cruelty began again, and when the men could take no more of the abuse, a mutiny was led by Mr. Christian. Captain Bligh and a few of his loyal men are forced into a small boat which is put out to sea. The Bounty sails back to Tahiti, where the men intend to spend the rest of their lives. The captain somehow survives and returns to England telling the story of the mutiny. He sets out again for Tahiti, and the men are brought back to England for a hearing regarding the mutiny and the events that led up to it. CONDITION: Photos are in Excellent Condition, with most having tiny pin holes on the margins, and two with minor corner creases.
