Vintage model cruise ship of the \"MS Southward\" made as a travel agency display model for Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Line in the 1970\'s.
This ship is made of hard plastic, hand-painted in various colors with the old Norwegian Cruise Line yellow sunburst logo, and sharp precise detail. It\'s enclosed in a clear see-through acrylic display case. The base reads \"M/S SOUTHWARD\" on both sides. The underside is covered in green felt.
The entire piece measures 9.5\" long by 2\" wide by 2.25\" tall, and weighs 1/2 lb.
The \"MS Southward\" sailed for Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Line from 1971 until 1994. This model was supposedly made by Precise Models of Ohio in the 1970\'s.
