Hallmarked (raised) appropriately on underside of base with register diamond (photo). Circa 1846. “Societe of Arts Prize Jug”. High glaze finish. NOTE - surface chip to top of rim (photo). Interior strainer near spout (photo). High relief design of grapevines and leaves. Wonderful PALE BLUE color. Braided branch handle intact, attached, secure. Spout intact. Measures approximately 6 3/4” height, 3 1/2” top opening, 3” base. Wear to bottom rim from prior use. Clean. Otherwise, VERY GOOD, preowned, antique, used condition.
