MELLOW MUSHROOM ALICE IN WONDERLAND BOGART ALE NIB MINT CON RED BRICK TAP HANDLE:
$1499.00

Collaborative Brew: Developed in 2008 for Mellow Mushroom in partnership with the Atlanta Brewing Company (later known as Red Brick Brewing).

Beer Style: Listed primarily as an American Pale Ale or Extra Special Bitter (ESB).

Awards: Won a Gold Medal in the Special Bitter/Best Bitter category and was named Best of Show at the 2009 Carolina Championship of Beers.

Status: Retired along with the beer itself, which was discontinued around 2011.

Rarity Status: Scarce. While Mellow Mushroom has dozens of franchise locations, Bogart Pale Ale was primarily distributed locally in the Atlanta, Georgia market. Consequently, production numbers for this custom design were limited from the start.
Fragility & Condition Premium: This tap handle features a highly complex, 3D-molded design with thin resin components. Due to the caterpillar\'s six outstretched arms holding beer bottles, it is incredibly fragile. Furthermore, the tap lacks a metal protective ferrule at the base, meaning many active bar versions suffered heavy chipping or broken limbs. A completely unblemished handle commands a significant premium because finding one intact is rare. THIS HANDLE IS MINT - PERFECT
Aesthetic Appeal: Highly sought-after outside of beer circles due to its pop-culture crossover appeal. Collectors of Alice in Wonderland memorabilia actively seek it out for its detailed sculpting, vibrant colors, and unique easter eggs (such as the dilated pupils in Alice\'s eyes).
Specifications: The tap measures 9.25 inches in height and utilizes a standard internal 3/8-inch mounting nut.
