Up for sale is a massive collection of 197 total pieces of uranium glass, also known as vaseline glass or depression glass. I have categorized them according to groups as detailed here:
- 20 watermelon glass
- 14 special (3 clear stem, 1 lampshade, 1 lamp, 2 shakers, 3 amberina, 1 gold trim, 1 black trim, 1 silver metal trim, 1 blue candlestick holder)
- 31 cups and ice cream dishes
- 25 princess / floral cup and ice cream dishes
- 7 containers (5+5 with lid, 1 without lid, 1 candlestick)
- 8 deep and shallow bowl
- 14 princess / floral deep and shallow bowls
- 31 princess platters and plates
- 19 large / medium platters and plates
- 23 medium / small platters and plates
Some of the glassware appears muted as I used a 395nm UV light, and the glass is against a white backdrop. 395nm light is not as effective as 365nm light when illuminating UV glass. The white backdrop also reflects back a lot of the 395nm blue/violet light. Rest assured, this is all UV glass.
SHIPPING NOTE:While this item is listed as local pickup, if shipping this is absolutely required, we can do so, albeit at a substantial cost. It would have to be custom quoted based on location and distance, as every single item would need to be individually wrapped in paper & bubble wrap and separated via cardboard, which would take several hours and require multiple large boxes. Insurance would be costly and required as well the further out it goes. I can also drive it out somewhere within a certain distance, which would still come at a considerable cost, to be negotiated.
If picking up locally, I will work with you to provide shipping materials and ensure safe transportation depending on the amount of space in your vehicle; each item will still require some degree of wrapping.
