This book features Marshall Herff Applewhite, the head of the Heaven\'s Gate cult, as a senior. He has a great posed head shot in the book (see attached scans).
This book is in good to very good overall condition for an almost 80-year-old specimen. The main flaw is that the page block is separated from the binding, but is held firmly in place by the flyleafs. The exterior of the book (covers, corners, spine) show varying degrees of wear. In particular, the top and bottom of the spine show heavy wear, and the bottom corner of the front cover has been bumped. The exterior edge of the page block shows some age-toning. The interior is in fine shape with writings and signatures mostly confined to the endpages.
