M.I. Hummel, \"Make a Wish\" (Die Pusteblume) Figurine, Date 1987 # 475 TMK 6 For Sale

This M. I. Hummel figurine \"Make a Wish\" (Die Pusteblume), TMK 6, mold #475, carries an incised copyright date of 1987. The figurine features a young girl sitting and blowing on dandelion seeds. The artist design is based on the heartwarming sketches of children created by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel (born Berta Hummel), a Franciscan num whose art was turned into porcelain by the Goebel Porcelain Manufactory starting in 1935. The small size (4 1/2 inch) figurine mold #475 was sculpt in the late 1980s, bearing the 1987 (TMK 6) copyright stamp on its base. This unique and vintage figurine was placed in a glass inclosed cabinet for over 30 years along with other collectible memorabilia until now for this listing.
