Lovely Old Pair Of Redwork Embroidery Pillow Layovers - \"I Slept & Dreamed...\" For Sale

Beautifully done pair of red embroidered pieces suitable for use as pillow layovers or as unique artwork.Note that these are NOT shams or pillowcases. They are a pair of embroidered panels in an irregular size with a delicate edging.See photos for condition and size of this pair of sweet embroidered pillow layovers.Beautifully edged and embroidered. A slight bit of wear and a slight discoloration here and there. Overall excellent condition.Sentiments: \"I SLEPT AND DREAMED THAT LIFE WAS BEAUTY\" with red embroidered vining flowers, a lady reclined, and a fairy -- and \"I WOKE AND FOUND THAT LIFE WAS DUTY\" with red embroidered vining morning glories and a lady with a broom.Note that one has a small open slot/seam on one side on the back, but not on the other embroidered piece. (See the photo where the white pencil is shown partially inserted.)I\'m assuming that these would be considered pillow layovers, but I\'m not an expert. I think the fabric is cotton, but I\'m not positive.They measure about 31 inches from top to bottom and about 33/34 inches wide overall, including the delicate edging.If I kept them, I\'d have them professionally framed as a pair because I think they are too special to use and they seem more like artwork to me, and perfect for a bedroom with a cottage or vintage theme. ( I have a similar piece in a large frame and it is very special and unique in a bedroom.)I will do my best to ship them folded neatly, but they probably will arrive with more creases than shown in the pictures.
