Louise Bourgeois 14 5/8 x 11 5/8 Fine Art Portrait Photograph-1996-Michel Comte For Sale

This is an 14 5/8 x 11 5/8 fine art portrait photo done in 1996 of the the artist sculptor Louise Bourgeois. It was shot by the Swiss fashion photographer Michel in New York. It is not signed by Comte but it is in his well-known body of work. In the tradition of Henri Cartier-Bresson, the photograph is uncropped with film type and batch number still present. Bresson considered cropping a \"sin.\" This and many other photos I offer came from the estate of master photographer and master printer Mark Bugzester(1954-2025.) He either collected and/or printed this photograph for Comte with whom he had a working relationship. Comte thanked Bugzester for contributing to his iconic tome \"People and Places with No Names\" in the book credits. Bugzester was in the field for many years and knew and worked for many photographers. It has a Mark Bugzester estate stamp on back. Bugzester ran premier printing laboratories in Paris and Manhattan developing custom prints for iconic photography legends like Robert Avedon, Arnold Newman, Michel Comte, Robert Frank and Stan Scheffer. The photograph is in excellent condition. It is not a press photo or a modern knock-off. The first four photos by me were taken outside in natural light-not sunlight.
