Longaberger May Series — 8 baskets, 8 different years, 1992 to 2002.
Grandma Bonnie's May Series was Longaberger's annual Mother's Day basket, one flower per year, from 1990 to 2008. This is a single-owner collection kept with the original liners, protectors, ceramic tie-ons and paperwork. Several tie-ons are still sealed in their boxes.
WHAT YOU GET — one basket per year:
- 1992 PANSY — pansy fabric liner, plastic protector. Leather loop handles. No tie-on or card.- 1994 LILAC (#16209) — lilac liner, protector, ceramic Lilac tie-on still in its box, care card, and the original "Welcome to the Beauty of Spring" flyer.- 1995 TULIP (#14648) — red tulip liner plus a second matching fabric piece, protector, ceramic tie-on attached AND a second Red Tulip tie-on sealed in its box, care card, original sales flyer.- 1996 SWEET PEA (#14915) — sweet pea liner plus two extra matching fabric pieces, protector, ceramic Sweet Pea tie-on attached, care card.- 1998 SNAPDRAGON (#10863) — snapdragon liner, TWO protectors, TWO Snapdragon tie-ons sealed in boxes, Guarantee of Satisfaction card, product card.- 1999 DAISY (#13056) — daisy liner, protector, ceramic Daisy tie-on in box, matching daisy fabric handle grip, product card.- 2001 PEONY (#10184) — long oval with sage-green trim. Bonnie Longaberger's signature is woodburned into the base (factory-applied on this year).
Also included, at no charge: the "Grandma Bonnie's Favorites" May Series poster by Richard Cowdrey (24 x 20, unframed) and Bonnie Longaberger's book "Reflections on the Simple Life." Both belong with the set.
MARKINGSEvery basket has the burned Longaberger logo, weaver's initials and year on the base. Bottoms are photographed. No logos are crossed out — no factory seconds.
CONDITIONDisplayed, not used. Weaving is tight and uniform on all eight. No broken or lifted splints, no fading I can find, no odor, non-smoking home. Liners are clean. Protectors are clear with no cracks. Please look at every photo — I photographed each basket and each base.
MEASUREMENTSStandard May Series sizes. The largest (1998 Snapdragon) is about 8" across the top rim, handle excluded. The Peony is a low oval about 12 3/8" x 6 3/8" x 2 3/8". Ask if you need a specific one.
