From the shores of Loch Ness!
The Loch Ness Monster or “Nessie”, as it’s come to be known, drew interest when in 1933, a couple reported seeing a large animal in Loch Ness, and the story was published in The Inverness Courier. This was the beginning of the modern legend of the Loch Ness monster.
But Nessie has been around much longer then that. In the 6th century a Irish monk “Saint Columba” reported seeing a monster in Loch Ness, and is said to have banished it back into the loch.
This rock was recovered directly from the shores on Loch Ness lake, Scotland.
